Hugo Bustamante Playership Fund
AIEA AYSO Region 118
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is a non-profit, all volunteer program. Our mission is to provide world-class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives.
Our policy is that parents/guardians should finance their children’s registration fee to the extent that they are able in support of our programs. In that our goal is maximum participation, a “playership” fund has been established in our Region to assist families in need with the registration fee. An AYSO playership is based on financial need of families who are not able to pay for all or part of their child’s registration in order to participate. Because there are limited funds available, the playerships will go to families who demonstrate the greatest need while funds remain available.
Criteria:
- Parents/ guardians must complete the aysoregion118.com online registration for Region 118 and submit the Hugo Bustamante Playership application form (link below) and required documentation to the address listed below. All information provided will be held in complete confidence.
- Financial assistance will be considered for those able to provide documentation that supports the financial need such as proof of current government financial aid or that the child is a participant a school lunch program or a copy of your State of Hawaii Free or reduced price lunch program or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- AYSO will also give priority consideration to recommendations received from government agencies, social agencies or school administrators.
- You may not apply for Financial Aid after you have registered and paid the full fee; there are no retroactive refunds.
